Role description
Mary Help of Christians Primary School, Sawtell
Mary Help of Christians School is a vibrant community serving the communities of Sawtell, Toormina, Boambee and Bonville. Our school is an integral part of the faith community of the Sawtell Catholic Parish and is part of the Lismore Diocesan School system.

MAINTENANCE / GROUNDSPERSON
Part time temporary position (approx. 25 hours per week)
for the period 20 April - 17 July 2026

Applicants must:
- hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
- comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with all members of the school community both individually and as a member of a team
- Understanding of and capability to apply Workplace Health and Safety standards, especially in the use and application of cleaning equipment and materials
- Proven ability as an effective team member
- Hold a current NSW Light Rigid licence (desirable but not essential)
- Physical fitness is an essential criterion as the role requires some lifting and physical labour.
