Role description
Preserve the past. Inform the present. Shape the future.
We are seeking an experienced Archivist to steward the School’s archives and heritage collections. This role is responsible for preserving and interpreting records, artefacts and stories that capture the rich history and legacy of the School, while ensuring materials of enduring value remain accessible for future generations.
Working across the School community, the Archivist provides expert advice on archival and heritage matters, supports research and historical projects, contributes to publications and special events, and oversees the transfer and preservation of records of permanent value. The role also provides professional guidance to the School Records Officer, ensuring strong alignment between records management and archival practice.
The successful candidate will bring qualifications and experience in archives, records or information management, together with strong organisational, research and stakeholder engagement skills. Most importantly, they will understand that archives are more than records. They are the collective memory, history and identity of the School.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in preserving the School’s legacy while supporting its future.
