Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Teacher Passport (the "Service"), operated by Sandbox Learning Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 34 620 334 741), trading as Teacher Passport ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

Teacher Passport is an Australian platform that helps teachers and education professionals discover job opportunities across government, Catholic and independent schools, and access career resources such as pay information and study tools. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any school, diocese, government education department, or assessment body unless expressly stated.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

3. Your account

Some features require an account. You may register with an email address and password, or by signing in with a third-party provider such as Google or Microsoft. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You may delete your account at any time from the Account tab in your profile, or by contacting us. We hold the account for 7 days before erasing it so you can change your mind. See our Privacy Policy for what is deleted and the limited records we are required to keep. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms (see Termination below).

4. Job listings and the aggregator disclaimer

Teacher Passport aggregates and republishes job listings that are publicly advertised by schools and education employers, along with links back to the original advertisements. We do not employ teachers, and we are not the advertiser, recruiter, or employer for any role listed on the Service.

While we take reasonable care to keep listings accurate and current, we do not guarantee that any listing is complete, correct, still open, or available. Details such as salary, closing dates, requirements, and contact information are sourced from third parties and may change or be withdrawn without notice. Always confirm the details of a role — and apply — through the official employer or advertiser.

5. Applying for roles

When you apply for a role, you do so directly with the relevant employer or through their nominated application system. Teacher Passport does not receive, process, or decide on applications, and we are not a party to any employment relationship, offer, or contract that results. Any credentials or documents you choose to store with us (for example, registration or working-with-children details) are stored to help you manage your own applications and are not shared with employers unless you choose to submit them.

6. The LANTITE diagnostic and study tools

The LANTITE diagnostic and any related study material are optional self-assessment tools created by Teacher Passport. They are indicative only, are not affiliated with or endorsed by ACER or any assessment authority, and do not predict your performance on the actual LANTITE or any official assessment. You should not rely on them as a substitute for official preparation or advice.

7. LANTITE Premium purchases

LANTITE Premium is an optional paid product that unlocks additional practice content — the full question bank, worked solutions, and sub-domain and difficulty filters — for the subject or subjects you buy and for the access period shown at checkout. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: nothing recurs, there is nothing to cancel, and access ends automatically when the period expires.

• Prices and GST. Prices are shown in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST where it applies. A tax receipt is emailed to you after purchase.
• Payment. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. You must be authorised to use the payment method you provide.
• Access period. "3 month" plans give access for three months from the time of purchase. "Unlimited, until you pass" plans give access for a fixed period shown at checkout; if that period lapses and you have not yet passed the LANTITE, you may contact us with reasonable evidence and we will extend your access. Repeat purchases of the same subject add to your remaining time.
• Refunds and your consumer rights. Because Premium is digital content you can access immediately, we do not offer refunds for change of mind once access has been granted. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law: if the product has a major problem, or is not of acceptable quality, does not match its description, or is not fit for a purpose we told you it would be fit for, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair. To make a claim, email support@teacherpassport.com.au.
• Indicative only. As with the free diagnostic, Premium practice material is created by Teacher Passport, is not affiliated with or endorsed by ACER, and does not guarantee any particular result on the official LANTITE.

8. LANTITE Literacy with Jesse (group coaching)

LANTITE Literacy with Jesse is live group coaching for the LANTITE literacy test, run by Jesse Whelan. This section applies when you enrol in a coaching cohort, together with the rest of these Terms. In it, "your cohort" is the cohort you enrol in, and "your test window" is the LANTITE test window that cohort prepares for, as shown on the coaching page when you pay.

• Enrolment and payment. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Session dates and times, prices, early bird pricing and enrolment deadlines are those shown on the coaching page when you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, and your seat is reserved once payment is received. If you enrol after a session has run, you get the recording of it.
• What you get. Core includes your cohort's Tuesday live sessions over Zoom, session materials and practice questions. Comprehensive adds your cohort's Thursday live sessions and one mock test with personalised feedback. Both include a recording of every session, which you can watch until your test window ends, and LantiteClub Premium for literacy (the full literacy question bank on your Teacher Passport account) until the same date.
• Live sessions and recordings. Every live session is recorded, so if you cannot attend one live you can watch the recording instead. If we have to move or cancel a live session, we will tell you as early as we can and make sure you have a recording covering it. Recordings include anything said or shown on camera or in the chat, so if you would rather not appear, keep your camera off and use the chat. Your enrolment is for you alone, and recordings and materials must not be shared, resold or posted anywhere.
• Conduct. We may remove anyone whose conduct disrupts a session or is abusive, and there is no refund if we do.
• Refunds. Enrolments are non-refundable once paid, including if you change your mind or cannot make the live sessions, because every session is recorded for you. If we cancel a cohort before it starts, you get a full refund. None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see Disclaimers below).
• Pass guarantee. If you complete the program, sit the LANTITE literacy test in your test window and do not meet the standard, we will enrol you free in the next cohort we run, in the same tier. If we do not run a cohort that finishes before the next LANTITE test window, we will instead give you free access to the session recordings and practice materials for your tier until the end of that window. Live sessions are only included where that next cohort runs them. To claim, all of these must apply: you attended live, or watched the recording of, every session for your tier (for Comprehensive, including the Thursday sessions); you completed the homework practice questions before your test day; you sat the literacy test in your test window; and you email your ACER results statement to coaching@teacherpassport.com.au within 30 days of receiving it. You may cover your registration ID and date of birth before sending it. The guarantee covers the literacy test only, applies once per person, and does not include a refund or any other payment.
• One-on-one tutoring. Tutoring is arranged by email. Its price, payment and cancellation terms are confirmed with you in writing when you book.
• Results. Coaching is independent test preparation, not affiliated with or endorsed by ACER. Apart from the pass guarantee, it does not guarantee any particular result. The tutor's own results shown on the coaching page are genuine, and are not a prediction of yours.

9. Acceptable use

When using the Service you agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
• scrape, harvest, copy, or republish listings or other content except as expressly permitted;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• upload malicious code or interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Service; or
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.

10. Your content

You retain ownership of the information and content you provide to the Service. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, process, and use that content solely to operate and improve the Service and to provide it to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide any content you upload.

11. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and software (but excluding third-party job listings and your content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use it only as permitted by these Terms.

12. Third-party services and links

The Service links to and integrates with third-party services, including employer application systems, sign-in providers such as Google and Microsoft, and our payment provider Stripe. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

13. Privacy

Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or availability of the Service or any content, including job listings.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to re-supplying the relevant service (or the cost of doing so).

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss of employment, opportunity, income, data, or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or your reliance on any listing or content.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, or costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service, to the extent permitted by law.

17. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the Account tab in your profile. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably need to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will continue to apply.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes may be notified to you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
