About the Role

Position Title:  Graduate Teacher – Junior School 
Employment Type:  Full-time, Fixed Term 
Commencement:  Beginning of the 2027 school year 
Location:  St Pius X Primary School, Warrnambool 

Some of the Key Responsibilities of this role will include:

Teaching and Learning 

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated learning programs that meet the needs of students. 
  • Establish a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment. 
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to support student engagement and learning. 
  • Assess, monitor and document student learning and progress. 
  • Provide appropriate feedback to students to support their learning and development. 
  • Use student assessment data to inform planning and teaching. 
  • Implement individual learning adjustments and support strategies where required. 
  • Develop students' literacy, numeracy and broader learning capabilities.
