Location: Townsville Catholic Education Office
Salary Range: $153,472 - $172,733 per annum (pending experience)
Townsville Catholic Education is seeking an experienced Curriculum Lead to support school leaders and teachers in strengthening curriculum delivery and improving student learning outcomes across our Diocese.
Working closely with the Education Consultant, Learning and Teaching Team and schools, you will provide specialist curriculum advice, coaching and professional learning tailored to each school’s priorities and context.
In this role, you will:
- Coach and support school leaders and teachers in curriculum delivery
- Help schools develop and achieve their improvement goals
- Coordinate and deliver professional learning opportunities
- Support curriculum review, renewal and system initiatives
- Provide advice on the Australian Curriculum, senior syllabi and QCAA requirements
- Build collaborative networks across schools and the broader TCE system
About you
You are an experienced Catholic educator with strong curriculum knowledge and a passion for building teacher capability and improving student outcomes.
You will bring:
- Recent Catholic school experience across the P-12 context
- Experience coaching educators and delivering professional learning
- Strong knowledge of curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and school improvement
- Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Experience in curriculum development or educational leadership
