About
Merriwa Central School is a K–12 school of 232 students, including 52 Aboriginal students, located in the Upper Hunter region serving a largely rural community. As one of the oldest schools in the State and one of only four Central Schools in NSW with separate primary and secondary campuses, it serves students from the local town and surrounding villages.
