Role description
About the role
We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic Education Support Officer to join our professional learning team. This person will support our students and contribute to our school's positive culture.
Position to commence in Term 2, 2026.
The interview process may commence before the closing date and, if a suitable applicant is found, the role may close early. We encourage applications for the vacancy to be submitted as soon as possible.
Applicants need to:
- demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of a Catholic School
- support students, especially those who have additional learning needs and adjustments in accessing the curriculum
- work under the direction of the classroom teacher, within flexible learning spaces
Special Requirements
The successful applicant will need to have:
- Experience working in schools as an ESO
- Working With Children Check
- Certificate 11 (or higher qualification) in Education Support, an advantage
- Current Level 11 First Aid or willingness to gain qualification
- Extra qualifications eg. Certificate 1V in Disability, an advantage
