Role description
Are you passionate about building literacy skills and creating inclusive learning opportunities for every student?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Literacy and EAL/D Specialist to strengthen student literacy development and achievement across our ELC–Year 6 community. Working collaboratively with classroom teachers and the Inclusive Learning Team, this role will lead and support evidence-informed literacy practices, coordinate targeted interventions for Upper Primary students (Years 3–6), and provide specialist English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D) support across ELC–Year 6.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student learning through differentiated instruction, targeted support and the development of teacher capability. The successful applicant will play an important role in monitoring student progress, strengthening inclusive teaching practices and ensuring all students are supported to access learning, develop confidence and reach their potential.
The teacher will be expected to work cooperatively with other staff members and contribute more broadly to the community.
