Mathematics Teacher

Wenona is seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics teacher to join our Mathematics Department. You will inspire our young women through dynamic classroom practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance.

The Position

• Inspire and engage students while contributing to a thriving academic program.
• Demonstrate outstanding professional practice, including curriculum differentiation.
• Apply contemporary pedagogy, with a strong focus on inquiry-based learning.
• Plan and deliver authentic assessment that informs teaching and learning.
• Commit to pastoral care and the wellbeing of students, especially girls and young women.
• Embrace collaboration, professional learning, and the use of ICT to enrich student engagement.

This is a temporary full-time position commencing in Term 1 2027 and concluding in Term 4 2027.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be highly qualified, with experience in teaching Mathematics across Years 7-12. You will have a strong working knowledge of NESA curriculum, and HSC assessment practices and marking processes.
