The Community Education Counsellor at Dakabin State High School provides educational counselling and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and families, working across schools to improve educational participation and engagement.
The role
involves developing support programs, building partnerships with families and community services, advising school staff on cultural protocols and perspectives, and delivering cultural awareness training to strengthen connections between education, culture and the broader
school community. This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.50FTE), 36 hours per fortnight.
