About Us:

The People, Culture & Country project provides opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from across North Queensland to make connections with their family's culture to land, sea, and sky.  Non-Indigenous students are also participants in the project. Students design and create inspirational pieces of wearable art which educates and informs, not only to education staff, but the wider non-Indigenous community.  The project is a way of linking the oldest traditional art in the world with the rich diversity of contemporary artistic practice in our multicultural society.
