Role description

An exciting opportunity exists for two passionate and strategic leaders to join the senior leadership team at Laidley State High School as Head of Department - Student Engagement.
You will oversee a sub-school cohort within Junior Phase (Years 7-9), leading initiatives that strengthen engagement, promote positive behaviour, and support the holistic development of students through a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework.
As Head of Department ￂ Student Engagement, you will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build effective relationships with students, staff and families, and a commitment to ensuring all students develop the personal capabilities necessary for future happiness and success.
Two temporary full-time roles are on offer from 21 January 2027 until 10 December 2027, unless otherwise determined.
