Role description

Wesley College Melbourne, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools.  With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana, Lochend and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.

Wesley College's Glen Waverley Campus is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Voice Teacher to commence on a casual basis at the beginning of Term 1, 2027.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to develop strong and healthy vocal technique tailored to each student's stage of development, while confidently teaching across a range of musical styles. They will inspire and support students in achieving their musical goals, including preparation for performances, auditions, and examinations throughout the year.

The role requires the ability to teach students from Upper Primary through to Senior School levels. Piano skills would be an advantage but are not essential.

The position currently offers approximately 3.5 hours of teaching per week, with the potential for the program to grow to a full day of teaching for the successful candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant and highly regarded music program and support the development of young vocalists across the College.

Applications close at 5:00pm on 13 November 2026.

Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and interviews may commence prior to the application close date.
