Working collaboratively with leaders and teachers, the Teacher Librarian supports curriculum delivery and provides an engaging, inclusive library environment that promotes reading, inquiry, creativity and lifelong learning. The role is responsible for developing and managing a relevant and accessible collection of print and digital resources, promoting reading for pleasure, supporting students to become independent and ethical users of information, and contributing to whole-school literacy and learning priorities. The Teacher Librarian also supports the effective use of library resources, technologies and information services and ensures the library is a welcoming and purposeful learning environment for students and staff from Reception to Year 12. Please provide a resume plus responses to the following questions: 1. How would you create a library environment that engages students from Reception to Year 12 and promotes a love of reading? 2. How would you work with leaders and teachers to use the library and its resources to support teaching and learning? How would you build positive relationships with students, staff and families to support the role of the library across the school?
