Role description
St Michael's Primary School is seeking a passionate, dedicated and evidence-informed Classroom Teacher to join our collaborative learning community.
At St Michael's, we are committed to creating an environment where every child is known, valued and supported. Grounded in Catholic Social Teaching and our Mercy heritage, our teachers work together to foster academic excellence, curiosity, and personal growth for every student.
As a Classroom Teacher, you will bring strong pedagogical knowledge to the classroom, aligning your practice with Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) strategic directives: the Vision for Instruction (VfI) and Vision for Engagement (VfE). You will deliver structured, explicit instruction specifically grounded in the evidence based pedagogy while creating a safe, highly engaging and supportive environment for diverse learners.
