Kitchen Garden Specialist

The opportunity

• Join our team as a Kitchen Garden Education Support Officer, introducing students to the joys of growing food and the benefits of a productive garden.
• This is a part-time, 12-month contract commencing in January 2027, offering 6 hours per week on negotiable days, either one full day or two three-hour shifts. This is during school term weeks.
• Maintain the gardens and engage students in growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing fresh produce.

You are passionate about gardening, fresh produce and helping children develop healthy habits. You bring creativity and enthusiasm to planning food activities and preparing simple, nutritious meals using garden produce. You enjoy working with children, creating hands-on learning experiences and inspiring them to explore where their food comes from.
