Upper Primary Teacher

About the role
Unity College is seeking an experienced and dedicated Upper Primary Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Murray Bridge, SA. This is a full-time contract role for 2027. As a Primary Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational journey of our students and helping them reach their full potential.  

What you'll be doing

• Designing and delivering engaging, student-centred lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum
• Providing personalised support and guidance to students to help them achieve their learning goals
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
• Assessing and providing feedback on student progress, and using data to inform your teaching practice
• Contributing to the broader life of the school through extracurricular activities and community engagement

What we're looking for

• Relevant teaching qualifications and a current registration to teach in South Australia
• Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality primary education, with an understanding of the IB PYP pedagogy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• A passion for supporting the holistic development of students and a commitment to inclusive and equitable practices
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the school community
