Canberra Grammar School is seeking an engaging Textiles and Design Teacher who can connect creative thinking with practical skills, empowering students to take an idea from its first sketch to a finished product.

Teaching across Years 7–12, you will create hands-on learning experiences that encourage experimentation, develop technical confidence and challenge students to solve problems through design. Your expertise will help students discover the possibilities of materials, technologies and making, while developing skills they can carry beyond the classroom.

Working alongside passionate colleagues, you will contribute to curriculum planning, classroom practice and assessment, sharing ideas and creating inclusive learning experiences that support and extend students across a range of abilities.

You will also contribute to pastoral care, co-curricular opportunities and the broader life of the School, building connections that support students’ wellbeing, confidence and personal growth.
