Position Information
Stewart House School caters for approximately 1700 students from public schools across NSW and ACT annually.Each fortnight, up to 85 students participate in health and educational programs and out-of-school activities to promote their learning and wellbeing, with 30-40% of the students being from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background.
The Stewart House School program features a Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum and includes experiential learning, as students are taken on excursions across Sydney every second day. The school works in close partnership with Stewart House Organisation, and its public health providers, as well as Principals from students' home schools. Children, whilst in residence at Stewart House, attend the school for up to10 days of their 12-day residential stay.
