Position Information
Googong High School will open to year 7 and 8 students in 2027. Situated in the Queanbeyan Network on Ngambri and Ngunnawal Country, the school serves a rapidly growing, highly engaged and aspirational community, with the potential for the school to expand to cater for approximately 2000 students. The school benefits from brand new and state of the art facilities including new wood and metal workrooms, semi-outdoor construction spaces and STEM maker labs.
The successful applicant will form part of our foundation STEM faculty. This faculty will encompass Mathematics, Science and STEM, and have carriage of some of our whole school curriculum projects. Whilst this role is for teaching Technology and Applied Studies, successful applicants will take a key role in being part of larger school initiatives.
