The Queensland Corrective Services Academy provides education, training and professional development to corrective services staff across the state. The QCS Academy operates as the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for QCS (RTO Registration #5292).
In the Staff Training Coordinator (STC) role you will ensure correctional officers maintain their vocational qualification in accordance with relevant training standards and the requirements of the Agency. The STC must ensure appropriate training data
is maintained and both facilitates and delivers training to staff including working closely with the QCS Academy, internal trainers, centre rostering staff and external providers. STCￂs are also required to deliver training on a regular basis and oversee rollout of training agenda across the centre.
