Role description

  • Fixed term: Full-time or Part-time (12 months) Maternity Relief
  • CAFS and/or Child Studies focus

Wyong Christian Community School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PDHPE teacher with experience in teaching CAFS and/or Child Studies to join our growing school community.

Set across 28 acres in a beautiful semi-rural setting on the Central Coast, Wyong Christian Community School is a vibrant, Christ-centred community that has been building God’s Kingdom for 32 years. We are passionate about providing an education that nurtures the whole person, equipping students to discover their God-given potential and use their gifts to make a positive difference in the world.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, supportive and well-resourced faculty where relationships matter, professional growth is encouraged, and teachers are valued for the difference they make every day.

We are looking for a teacher who can bring learning to life through engaging and purposeful teaching, inspiring students to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the practical and personal relevance of Community and Family Studies (CAFS) and Child Studies, helping students develop a deeper understanding of individuals, families, communities, child development and the factors that shape wellbeing throughout life.

Above all, we seek a teacher who shares our commitment to Christian education and desires to see students grow academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
