Role description
Orana Steiner School is seeking an experienced Primary School Teacher to join our dedicated teaching team from Term 1, 2027 for a permanent, full-time position.
If you are passionate about education and committed to supporting the ethos of our school, we encourage you to apply. We value applicants with experience in Steiner education and are committed to fostering a warm, caring, and creative learning environment.
Role Overview
As a valued staff member at Orana, you will contribute to the community as a member of an educationally focused team that ignites a life-long passion for learning within our students through academic, practical and creative experiences. A Primary Class Teacher in Steiner education typically guides students from Year 1 through to the end of their primary school years. The role involves delivering a rich, integrated curriculum through stories, art, music, and practical activities to inspire and develop students’ imagination. In the Class Teacher period, the aim is to foster a love of learning and independent thinking, while building a strong academic foundation for the secondary school years.
