Role description
Commencing Term 1 2027
Do you love sport, enjoy working with young people and thrive in a hands-on, active environment?
Victory Lutheran College is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Sport & Recreation Assistant (Secondary) to support the delivery of sport, recreation, HPE, camps, excursions and student activities across our Secondary School.
This is a part-time, term-time position working 16.25 hours per week. The role also includes attendance at designated camps, excursions and events, including out-of-hours and overnight commitments where required.
Working alongside our Sport Coordinator (Secondary), Learning Leader - HPE and HPE staff, you will provide practical, administrative and student support across a range of activities. This may include preparing equipment and facilities, supporting students during sport and HPE activities, assisting with interhouse and interschool sport, and helping with the organisation of camps, excursions and events.
We’re looking for someone who is positive, proactive and student-focused, with strong organisation and communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. Experience working with young people, sport, recreation, camps, excursions or school programs would be an advantage. Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
At Victory, you’ll be part of a welcoming and supportive College community that values inclusion, teamwork and opportunities for students to participate, build confidence and develop a strong sense of belonging.
