Selection Criteria

SC4. Possess the nursing qualifications, technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position.

SC5. Demonstrated capacity to provide advice and support to management and other school staff in respect to the work area.

• To promote and protect the health, safety and well-being of students and staff to support academic success.

• To promote student health, manage medical conditions, and bridge the gap between education and community health services
  • Camps and Excursions: Attend school camps, sporting events, and field trips to manage ongoing health requirements off-site and communicate with staff to ensure camps and excursions paperwork regarding health or medication requirements are completed
  • Emergency & First Aid Response: Treat acute Injuries, sports injuries (such as concussions and fractures), seizures, and severe allergic reaction or anaphylaxis.
