Located in Armidale, NSW, NEGS is an independent Anglican school offering a co-educational Junior School (Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6) and a girls-only Senior School (Years 7–12), supported by a vibrant boarding community.

NEGS is seeking an outstanding educator and educational leader to join the School as Director of Teaching and Learning, commencing in 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine strategic educational leadership with an active classroom teaching role. The successful candidate will lead the continued development of teaching, learning and academic excellence across the School while directly contributing to student learning through their own exemplary teaching practice.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Principal and working closely with the Deputy Principal and School Executive, the Director of Teaching and Learning will lead the School’s teaching and learning agenda from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12.

As a key member of the Principal’s Executive, the Director will contribute to whole-school strategic planning, decision-making and educational improvement. While providing leadership across the School, the role has particular responsibility for the Senior School curriculum, working collaboratively with the Junior School Coordinator to support a connected and high-quality educational experience.
