Duties and Responsibilities

The role of the Teachers Aide is to support student learning by working collaboratively with teachers. This partnership aims to develop and implement strategies to allow students with a diagnosed disability, or other identified needs, to engage in the curriculum and other school activities. 

Roles available

• Pre-K Teachers Aide: In this role, the TA works collaboratively in one Pre-K class with the Pre-K teacher and 20 students. Experience working with preschool children is essential.   This is a temporary one year position working two days per week (Thursday and Friday).

• K-6 Teachers Aides: In these roles, the TA supports student learning in one-to-one and small group settings and through in-class support.  A three day a week permanent position and a 4-day maternity leave position for 2027 are available. 

• Senior School Teachers Aide: In this role, the TA supports student learning in one-to-one and small group settings and through in-class support. Additional support may be required during assessment and exam periods, and for other College activities.  This position is a full-time contract for one year.
