Secondary Science Teacher

Are you passionate about teaching and nurturing young minds in a faith-centred environment? We are looking for a dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to join our team. This is an ongoing position, with 0.8 – 1.0FTE (negotiable) commencing Term 1, 2027. 

What You Will Do:

• Lead our students through a dynamic and engaging curriculum
• Incorporate Christian teachings and values into lessons and daily classroom interactions
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom culture
• Encourage personal growth, resilience, and a love for learning in every student
• Collaborate with a team of passionate educators and supportive staff
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about student progress

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified and enthusiastic teacher with a genuine love for working with children
• Experience in teaching Secondary Science to Middle School students
• Experience in teaching Biology (SACE) at Year 11 & 12 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a caring and nurturing environment
• A proactive approach to lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management
• A commitment to the ethos of Christian education
