Role description

St Joseph's Primary School, Wagga Wagga

St Joseph’s School is centrally located in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. As a single stream school we are able to provide a safe, supportive and happy environment for all children from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Our staff work collaboratively to provide a holistic education, one that develops your child spiritually, academically, socially, physically and emotionally, in a community that is underpinned by Gospel values.

At St Joseph’s we follow a Positive Student Behaviour Approach which focuses on teaching students to assume responsibility for their own behaviour, therefore creating a cooperative learning environment. This philosophy helped develop our core aspirations of being Safe, Respectful, Responsible and Brave Learners. The values associated have been collaboratively developed by students and staff for all areas within the school environment. These aspirations are positively phrased, are taught explicitly in our classrooms and are promoted in all settings of our school, for all members of our school community.

At St Joseph’s we strive to build positive partnerships between the school, the parents and families, the Cathedral parish and the broader community of Wagga Wagga.
