Role description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and proactive Science Technician to join our team. As a multi-campus secondary school, Noosa District State High School provides a diverse and dynamic working environment. The Science Technician plays an important role in supporting our teachers and students by ensuring laboratories, equipment, chemicals and resources are safe, well maintained and ready for practical learning. We are looking for someone who is practical, organised and able to work independently, while also being a positive and collaborative member of our Science Faculty. The successful applicant will need to manage competing priorities, maintain high standards of laboratory safety and organisation, and work effectively within a busy multi-campus environment. This position is being offered in a Temporary Full-Time capacity, until 30 October 2026 or unless otherwise determined.
