Cleaner In Charge

This is a 12 month fixed term, part-time (0.63 FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency

The Role

The Cleaner in Charge is responsible for overseeing the opening and closing of the school and performing various internal and external cleaning duties. This includes maintaining carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning toilets, furniture, and fittings, dusting, window cleaning, rubbish removal, and other general cleaning tasks.

Externally, the role involves cleaning verandas, covered areas, and drinking troughs, removing cobwebs, and performing general upkeep of the grounds. The Cleaner in Charge will also oversee vacation cleaning tasks such as stripping and sealing vinyl floors, shampooing carpets, pressure cleaning verandas and undercover areas, and other related duties.
