About this role

As an Emergency Relief Teacher, you will provide short term teaching support across NT Christian Schools campuses, stepping in when classroom teachers are absent. You will help maintain continuity of learning, create a positive classroom environment and ensure students remain engaged in their learning.

Relief teaching offers flexibility and the opportunity to experience different school communities, year levels and learning environments across our network.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering planned learning activities and lessons in line with provided curriculum and classroom instructions.
• Creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour in a positive, respectful and consistent manner.
• Building positive relationships with students and supporting their academic, social and emotional development.
• Following school policies, procedures and child safety requirements.
