Over 25 different languages are represented by students with English as an Additional Language/ Dialect (EAL/D) across mainstream classes. The Beaconsfield IEC is an integral and highly valued part of our school with students currently enrolled in 5 classes. We deliver a specialised, age-appropriate program using the EAL/D Progress Maps to plan, support and assess students to develop their Standard Australian English.
