Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of Aboriginal and Islander Education Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Roebourne District High School (DHS), situated in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, serves a dynamic and culturally rich community. Our school is deeply connected to the land and the local Aboriginal culture that has shaped this region for thousands of years. We are strengthening the way culture, Country, community knowledge and relationships are embedded across our school. This includes our Yindjibarndi language program, Two-Way Connected Learning, Big Picture Learning in the secondary years, culturally responsive approaches to student wellbeing and engagement, and our work with families and community through the Connected Community School initiative.
