Education Assistant - Mainstream

We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistants – Mainstream for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Suitable applicants will ideally support the Department's objective of high-quality teaching and learning for students with special needs, contributing to an inclusive, safe and supportive school environment.

We are seeking Mainstream Education Assistants who ideally display a consistently patient and regulated demeanour, particularly when working with students who present with complex and challenging behaviours. The ability to remain composed under pressure, respond proactively, and implement consistent behaviour support strategies is desirable.
