Role description
Lauriston Girls’ School is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Casual Sports Coaches to join our Sport Department and play a key role in supporting student participation, development and achievement across our sports program.
We are currently seeking applications for:
- Strength and Conditioning Coaches (commencing immediately)
- Basketball Coaches (2026/2027 Summer Season)
- Netball Coaches (Term 1, 2027)
- Volleyball Coaches (Term 1, 2027)
Sport is an integral part of the Lauriston experience. Through a broad and inclusive sports program, students are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and leadership while striving for personal excellence. Our coaches play a key role in supporting students of all abilities to participate, improve and achieve their potential in a positive and supportive environment.
Working with students across a range of year levels, coaches are responsible for developing skills, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship, and creating positive sporting experiences that support student growth, wellbeing and achievement.
Successful applicants will demonstrate:
- Experience coaching the relevant sport or discipline
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to motivate, engage and inspire young people
- A commitment to student wellbeing and child safety
- Relevant coaching qualifications and/or accreditations (desirable)
