The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Years Chemistry/Science/Maths to join the team at St Mark’s College, Port Pirie! Here's your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future. As a member of our teaching team, you'll be at the forefront of education, creating an inspiring and inclusive environment where students thrive academically and personally.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality instruction in Secondary senior years Chemistry, Science and Mathematics including SACE Stage 1 & Stage 2 subjects.
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality learning experiences that engage and challenge students.
- Foster a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and achievement.
- Monitor, assess and communicate student progress while working collaboratively with families and colleagues to enhance learning outcomes.
- Possess a deep knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and Crossways and utilise contemporary and engaging pedagogies which promote high levels of engagement and quality outcomes for all learners.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving and scientific inquiry through practical and theoretical learning experiences.
- Differentiate teaching practices to meet the diverse learning needs, abilities and interests of students.
