About the Role

St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physics Teacher to join our Secondary Years team commencing Term 1 2027.

In this role, you will deliver engaging Physics learning experiences to students across the Secondary Years creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences that support academic growth and a lifelong love of learning. You will contribute to curriculum development, student wellbeing, and the wider College community.

  • Location: Indooroopilly, Brisbane
  • Start Date: Term 1 2027
  • Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

What You Bring

  • A relevant qualification in Education with teaching subject qualifications in Science.
  • Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) Registration.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching QCAA Physics in a secondary school setting.
  • Ability to teach, or openness to learn 
  • Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements within a secondary school environment.
  • Strong classroom management, organisational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to the College's Christian ethos and values.
