St Catherine of Siena Catholic Primary School, Melton West, is seeking a passionate and innovative Science Specialist Teacher to join our growing school community in 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who loves Science and wants to inspire students through curiosity, inquiry, investigation and hands-on learning.
We are looking for an educator who will create engaging and purposeful learning experiences, establish calm and positive classroom environments, and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for every student.
The successful applicant will:
- Have a genuine passion for Science and primary education.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and high expectations for student learning and behaviour.
- Use contemporary teaching practices aligned with the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement.
- Use assessment and data to inform teaching and support diverse learners.
- Be collaborative, reflective and committed to ongoing professional learning.
- Contribute positively to the faith-filled, inclusive and collaborative culture of St Catherine of Siena.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold current VIT registration.
- Hold Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School, or be willing to undertake the accreditation process.
- Hold a current Working with Children Check.
- Meet all relevant MACS child safety and employment requirements.
