Position Details:

Padbury Catholic Primary School is a double-stream, co-educational Catholic primary school that provides a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. Our primary school is seeking an experienced, high-calibre educator to lead and manage our Gifted and Talented/Extension program. In this key role, the educator will lead high-ability student enrichment, drive data-driven identification and manage external competition pathways.

Key Responsibilities: 
•    Advanced Curriculum Leadership: Design and execute high-level learning programs focused on advanced conceptual models, philosophical inquiry, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving.
•    Competitions & External Pathways: Lead and manage student entries, preparation, and participation in premier WA, national, and international primary competitions in Mathematics and Literacy.
•    Systemic Identification & Testing: Oversee the school-wide identification framework, administering and interpreting multi-faceted testing criteria (including cognitive, achievement, and teacher nomination tools) to identify gifted learners.
