Wavell State High School is seeking a Head of Department, Science (0.20 FTE) to join them on a part-time temporary basis, until 10 December 2027. Wavell offers a wide range of science
subjects and has partnerships with Queensland Minerals and Energy Academy (QMEA) and the University of Queensland.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead quality teaching and
learning in a vibrant, diverse Science Department.
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity commencing 20 January 2027 at (0.20FTE), 10 hours per fortnight. Negotiations are welcomed to add an additional incumbency at 0.8 FTE with teaching to make this a 1.0 FTE workload.
