Warrawong High School is a co-educational Year 7-12 inclusive high school with a strong focus on explicit teaching strategies catering to a diverse and dynamic school community reflecting the cultural diversity of contemporary Australia. Part of the Lake Illawarra North network, the total student population of Warrawong High School in 2026 is 565 students. Approximately 46% of our students have a language background other than English and 11 % of students identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander. Warrawong High School has the region’s only Intensive English Centre and there are nine classes currently in the Bayview special Education Centre. To complement our inclusive and diverse school community we have a school-based permaculture and community garden which supports and promotes sustainable living.
