Role description

Classroom Teacher Position

Applications are invited from suitable persons for the full time, contract position of Classroom Teacher to commence on Wednesday 27 January 2027.  

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher who embraces personalised, contemporary learning within a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to excellence, lifelong learning, and the values and teachings of the Gospel. The successful applicant must demonstrate a strong dedication to Catholic education and a steadfast commitment to the safety and wellbeing of all children.

Special Requirements

  • hold current VIT registration
  • accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or display a willingness to undertake this qualification
  • proof of personal identity and any professional or other qualifications

The successful applicant will:

  • be familiar with and comply with the school's Child Safe Policy and MACS Code of Conduct, and any other policies or procedures relating to child safety
  • possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a team-based approach to learning and teaching
  • have a clear understanding of contemporary learning and teaching practices in line with the MACS Vision of Instruction and Vision for Engagement
  • demonstrate an ability to collaborate and actively contribute in a team focused environment with a willingness to be open and responsive to new learning with the ability to use data to drive planning and differentiate learning
