Assistant Principal - Catholic Identity

Commencement Date:  Monday 18 January 2027
Employment Type:        Full-time, fixed-term 5 year leadership position with 0.4FTE teaching load.  
This position holds a substantive permanent teaching position within Catholic Education, Diocese of Cairns.
Salary Range:                AP1-AP3 - $149,763 to $157,119 FTE gross per annum + 12.75% Superannuation

The Position of Leadership - Assistant Principal Catholic Identity plays a key role in fostering a culture of belonging, equity and inclusion, ensuring every student is supported to achieve their full potential. Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff and families, the successful applicant will lead and promote evidence-based inclusive education practices, guide the development of personalised learning approaches, and support the implementation of effective teaching strategies that respond to individual student needs.
