Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Support Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Merriwa Education Support Centre (ESC) is a specialist primary school providing high-quality teaching and learning programs for students with disabilities and complex learning needs from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our students present with a diverse range of needs, and we are committed to creating engaging, inclusive and personalised learning environments that enable every student to achieve meaningful progress and reach their full potential. Through small class sizes, individualised programs and a highly collaborative team approach, we focus on communication, independence, academic achievement, social development and functional life skills. Evidence-based practices underpin all aspects of our work.
At Merriwa ESC, professional growth and collaboration are central to our work. Teachers are supported through professional learning, coaching, collaborative planning and opportunities to contribute to whole-school improvement. We value reflective practitioners who are committed to continuous improvement and who thrive within a connected, supportive and high-performing team environment. If you are looking for a rewarding role to make a genuine difference in the lives of students and their families within a welcoming and inclusive professional community, we encourage you to apply.
