Role description

Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking an outstanding executive leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Head of Senior School - Deputy Principal.

This is a pivotal leadership position for an experienced and visionary educational leader who has successfully led large teams, driven cultural transformation, and developed high-performing staff. Reporting directly to the Principal, you will provide strategic leadership of the Senior School (Years 7-12) while contributing to the overall leadership and future direction of the College.  

We are seeking a leader who understands that exceptional student outcomes are achieved through exceptional staff. As such, your primary focus will be leading, developing and inspiring teachers and middle leaders, building a culture of accountability, growth, collaboration and professional excellence.

The Opportunity

This role requires a highly capable executive leader with the presence, credibility and experience to influence culture, lead change and build leadership capacity across a large and complex school environment.

You will work closely with the Principal and Executive Leadership Team to:

  • Drive a culture of professional excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and mentor leaders and teachers to achieve their full potential.  
  • Foster a high-performance culture built on trust, accountability and shared purpose.
  • Lead strategic change initiatives with clarity, courage and empathy.
