Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of Program Coordinator - Student Achievement for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026, up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Kalamunda Senior High School (SHS) has an enviable reputation developed over 66 years of providing a quality education to all students. The school is proud of its outstanding achievement in the Gifted and Talented Visual Arts specialist program over 45 years, which is complemented by excellence in academic achievement, languages (three), a specialist program in Outdoor Education, Soccer and Performing Arts (General and Music) and an outstanding music program.
The school offers a welcoming, positive and supportive environment for all staff and students. There is a strong student services team overseen by the Associate Principal and including Program Coordinators, Chaplain, Nurse, School Psychologist and Year Coordinators. The school also has a Learning Centre to support literacy and numeracy development in the school and students with particular learning needs.
Drawing on the hills and surrounding suburbs, the school has proud traditions and a strong sense of community stretching across three generations with many of the students’ parents and grandparents attending the school. Graduates have gone on to excel and take on leadership roles in their chosen fields - notably the arts, medicine, dentistry, engineering, Olympic representation, journalism, entertainment and the public service.
