Are you a passionate Music educator who can ignite a love of music in children? Do you thrive on bringing performances to life, directing choirs and ensembles, accompanying liturgical celebrations, and creating unforgettable musical experiences that inspire students to flourish?
We are seeking an enthusiastic, talented and committed Teacher of Music to establish and develop a vibrant Music and Performing Arts program.
This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who understands the power of music to enrich the whole child, build confidence, foster creativity, strengthen community and deepen faith. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to shape, develop and grow a dynamic program that fosters a lifelong love of music and performance throughout the school.
Selection Criteria:
• Deliver engaging and contemporary Music education across the primary years.
• Establish and develop a vibrant Music and Performing Arts program that reflects the needs, interests and gifts of our students.
• Lead and develop school choirs, vocal groups and instrumental ensembles.
• Rehearse, direct and prepare students for concerts, performances, liturgical celebrations and community events.
• Serve as a competent piano accompanist for school Masses, liturgies, assemblies and special occasions.
• Create meaningful opportunities for students to participate in choral, instrumental and performance experiences.
• Foster a love of music that celebrates both individual gifts and collective achievement.
