Role description
This is a 15-month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 4, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency
Malibu School is an education support K to 12 school located in Safety Bay as a part of the South Metropolitan Education Region for students with intellectual disability, physical disability, sensory impairments (vision and hearing), challenging behaviours and/or autistic spectrum disorders.

The Role
The Student Services Officer (SSO) will work closely with the Student Services Coordinator, leadership team and school staff to provide responsive support to students and families.
The position will have a strong focus on Malibu School’s Transition and Outreach (T&O) Program, supporting students and families who are experiencing challenges that impact their engagement with school.
