Role description

Position details:
We are seeking a highly dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join our high performing Mathematics Department.  This is a full time, temporary 12-month position, commencing Term 1, 2027.

Responsibilities as a Mathematics Teacher:
•    The ability to teach Mathematics to Years 7 – 12 students.   
•    The ability to teach ATAR and General Mathematics to Years 11 – 12 (would be advantageous). 
•    A willingness to support Mathematics tutoring twice a term (would be advantageous). 
•    The ability to be innovative in current teaching methodologies, keeping up to date with current pedagogical trends in Mathematics.
•    The ability to differentiate Mathematics curriculum to a range of ability groups, to ensure individual student success.
•    The ability to effectively manage and support a Pastoral Care Group (PCG).
•    To work collaboratively to build rapport with students, parents and all College employees to develop respectful, inclusive and positive working relationships.

Selection Criteria: 
•    Highly skilled and competent Teacher in the delivery of Mathematics curriculum. 
•    Experience in writing and delivering differentiated programs in Mathematics. 
•    Excellent ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to contemporary pedagogical practices. 
•    Excellent ability to be flexible and an adaptable change agent, by embracing existing and emerging technologies and teaching practices that support contemporary student learning.
•    An awareness and appreciation for the Catholic ethos of the College.
